Rob Turk

Bio

Rob serves as the Director of Development at AREY Group, joining the team in 2024. With nearly a decade of experience, Rob excels in building strong relationships with team members, partners, and stakeholders, recognizing that these connections are crucial to the success of the projects he oversees.  

In his role, Rob is responsible for overseeing and guiding the development process from concept to completion and ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality, innovation, and efficiency. His approach is grounded in the belief that the foundation of any successful development lies not just in the bricks and mortar but also in cultivating meaningful relationships with project team members and stakeholders. 

Prior to joining AREY, Rob served as a Development Manager for a nationally recognized leader in the student housing sector. During his tenure, he delivered projects in diverse markets, including Seattle, WA, Athens, GA, and Fayetteville, AR. He also successfully entitled and closed on the land for a 942-bed student housing project in Boulder, CO. In addition to his experience in student housing, Rob also has extensive experience in developing traditional multifamily assets across the Carolinas, Georgia, and Tennessee. 

Rob received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina and his Masters of Real Estate Development from Clemson University. He and his wife, Claire, reside in Macon with their golden retriever Eloise. Outside of work, Rob enjoys live music, college football and traveling.
