Bio
Clayton serves as the Chief Investment Officer at AREY Group, joining the team in 2025. In his role, Clayton oversees all investment activity, including acquisitions, dispositions, and capital markets strategy. With over a decade of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Clayton has developed, acquired, and managed over $9B of assets across a variety of sectors, including multifamily, student housing, medical office, seniors housing, and hospitality.
Before joining AREY Group, Clayton held roles at The Bainbridge Companies where he led efforts to acquire and develop over $2B of multifamily assets, and CNL Financial Group, where he oversaw the acquisition and management of $7B in assets across multiple public REITs and Regulation D Private Placements. Clayton holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Florida State University.
